FR Cette invasion s'est voulue être une invasion 'camouflage', la majorité des mosaïques se fondant dans leur environnement.
Invité pour participer au festival d'art 'La Beauté', Invader avait prévu d'envahir Avignon et de publier une carte de l'invasion.
Quelques semaines avant le début du festival, les organisateurs ayant eu vent de son intention contactèrent Invader pour lui demander d'annuler son projet d'invasion. La ville d'Avignon étant constituée de nombreux bâtiments historiques classés, les organisateurs du festival ont craint que l'invasion ne soit mal perçue par les autorités et qu'ils en soient tenus responsables.
Tenant compte de ce point de vue mais refusant d'annuler son invasion, Invader modifia son plan et transforma son invasion en version 'camouflage', la grande majorité des mosaïques ayant les mêmes couleurs que leur mur support afin de les rendre plus discrètes.
EN This invasion was intended to be a "camouflage" invasion, with the majority of mosaics blending into their environment.
Invited to participate in the art festival "La Beauté", Invader had planned to invade Avignon and publish a map of the invasion.
A few weeks before the festival began, the organizers, having heard of his intention, contacted Invader and asked him to cancel his invasion project. As the city of Avignon is made up of many listed historic buildings, festival organizers feared that the invasion would be misunderstood by the authorities and that they would be held responsible.
Taking this point of view into account but refusing to cancel his invasion, Invader modified his plan and transformed his invasion into a "camouflage" version, the vast majority of mosaics having the same colors as their supporting wall in order to make them more discreet.
