Eine Hubbrücke für Radfahrer und Fußgänger überquert unterhalb der Landwehrbrücke die Schwabach. Sie ist notwendig geworden, um im Falle eines kritischen Hochwasserereignisses den Abflussquerschnitt des Bachlaufes nicht zu stark einzuschränken. Die Hubbrücke war der Stadt Schwabach sogar vom Wasserwirtschaftsamt vorgeschrieben worden. Sie wurde im Juli 2015 eingeweiht; bei Hochwasser kann sie 2,80 Meter angehoben werden.

The lifting bridge had been prescribed the city Schwabach even by the water management office. It was inaugurated in July 2015; at high tide it can be raised 2.80 meters.
