Located alongside Bess Rogers Road, west of the Dept. of Public Safety building in McClain Rogers Park, this tree is dedicated in honor of Rex Richard Madden, who was City Treasurer of Clinton for many years. His father, Rex Mitford Madden was also City Treasurer back in the 1940's.
Rex Richard Madden's honorarium was placed in 1997, ten years prior to his passing. It reads:
