"A uniformed Confederate soldier stands at parade rest, holding the barrel of his rifle at chest height with both hands, the butt of the rifle resting by his feet. He wears a brimmed hat and has pouches strapped around his waist. The soldier is mounted upon a three-tiered granite base with rustic finish, and a relief of a Confederate flag with polished stripes."
