Arizona Highway Dept. Marker 19 - San Tan Valley, AZ - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Embedded in a comcrete post, the bronze marker is stamped with Arizona Highway Dept. 19. There is one prominent ping mark off center, no other marks are discernable. The concrete supporting the marker is sticking above ground level. This is common in areas such as the San Tan valley where extensive ground water pumping has resulted in soil subsidence. There is an attendant witness post. The marker is located approximately 37 feet south of the southern edge of East Skyline Drive and .32 miles east of the intersection of Schnepf Rd. and E. Skyline Drive.
