Le Cercle des Fermières du Québec, section Anjou, est un club des femmes ayant ses quartiers dans le Centre communautaire d'Anjou à Montréal, Québec.

Cette section fait partie de la Fédération 14 (Laval, Montréal et Vaudreuil-Soulanges).

Créés en 1915 par le ministère de l’Agriculture, les Cercles de Fermières du Québec devaient à l’origine servir de rempart contre les effets néfastes engendrés par l’urbanisation et la modernisation de la société. Dès leur fondation, les Cercles ont eu comme objectif de veiller à la transmission du patrimoine culturel et artisanal du Québec. Ils se sont aussi donné comme mission l’amélioration des conditions de vie des femmes et le bien-être de la communauté.

Au début des années 2000, on en dénombre près de 700 qui rassemblent quelque 38 000 membres partout dans la province.

This section is part of Federation 14 (Laval, Montreal and Vaudreuil-Soulanges).

Created in 1915 by the Ministry of Agriculture, Cercles de Fermières du Québec was originally intended to serve as a bulwark against the harmful effects of urbanization and the modernization of society. From their foundation, the Circles had as objective to ensure the transmission of the cultural and artisan heritage of Quebec. They also gave themselves the mission of improving the living conditions of women and the well-being of the community.

In the early 2000s, there were close to 700 of them, bringing together some 38,000 members across the province.
