A 20' tall granite obelisk features two carved pilasters representing a universal symbol of Freemasonry the twin pillars of Jachin and Boaz. In ancient times twin pillars were as the gateway to sacred places. The terms Jachin and Boaz originates from the Biblical account of King Solomon’s Temple. According to the Bible, Boaz and Jachin were two copper, brass or bronze pillars which stood on the porch of Solomon's Temple. On this obelisk one of the pillars has a Doric capital and the other an Ionic Capital.

Near the obelisk is a sculpture of an open book with the Masonic symbol of a t- square and compass superimposed by a capital G.
