This is a Montgomery Ward model 14A corn sheller. Hand operated, it strips one ear of corn at a time. Not a great way to harvest a field of corn. It appears complete, handles and legs are in place although badly worn. It has been splattered with white paint, any other finish it might have had has rusted away. The sheller is located in the SanTan Historical Society Museum in the historic Rittenhouse Elementary School. The museum is open only on Saturday from 9-5. There is no admission charge.
