Wurtsboro Station was located on the O&W's Port Jervis Branch. The station was just "down the road" from the O&W Main Line Station at Mamakating - both literally and figuratively. The stations are less than a mile apart. However, Mamakating is on the grade to High View Tunnel and at a substantially higher elevation, while Wurtsboro is down in the valley. The Wurtsboro Station is obviously undergoing some kind of renovation and may have been sold. Although the station has been somewhat modified over the years, railfans and historians can at least take heart that it is still standing.
