It has a gambrel roof which allows for a second story, hand hewn oak beams, hand split laths, hand forged nails and hand made bricks for the centrally located fireplace. Th path leading to the main entrance is inlaid with an old millstone. The building is currently used for the museum's administrative offices and gift shop.
