The Baptist Meeting House was Acquired by Helen O. Storrow in 1930. It was disassembled and brought to Storrowton Village from Southwick, MA in 1930. The building reconstructed at the Storrowton Village Museum and later attached to the previously moved Atkinson Tavern, a.k.a. the Old Storrowton Tavern, to double the size of the tavern.

The two story building has five bays on the front and three bays on the side. On the front and side paned windows symmetrically flank a central door. The second floors have panes windows for each bay. The cupola bell tower was moved from the end of the building to the center of the building during reconstruction to enhance the symmetry and give it the appearance of a townhouse.

A wooden sign on the building is inscribed:

BAPTIST MEETING HOUSE
CIRCA 1822
SOUTHWICK, MA

A large green sign in front of the building is inscribed in yellow:

BAPTIST MEETING
HOUSE BUILDING

The Townhouse was originally erected in 1822 as a Baptist
Meeting House in Southwick, MA and later used for civic
purposes. It was joined to the Atkinson Tavern in the
1950's to accommodate the increasing popularity of
Old Storrowton Tavern.
