The British RML 80 pounder 5 ton (converted) gun was a 6.3 inch (160-mm) rifled muzzle-loading gun converted from a smoothbore 68-pounder 95 cwt 8-inch gun. It was deployed in fortifications around the British Empire from 1870s - 1900s. It fired a projectile weighing approximately 80 pounds.
