This is a reproduction of village homes of the traditional people of northern Thailand. The open-air museum is located to the north of the Chiang Mai city centre. There are about a dozen houses, each from a different ethnic group. Inside are artefacts appropriate to the time. There are signs, but most are in Thai, not English. Entry is free and unrestricted.
