A wood bench installed near the entrance to Rivers Edge Recreation Complex in Woonsocket, Rhode Island is one of six from a 2018 Eagle Scout project by Xavier Denis. It sits along the eastern edge of a small round plaza of pebbled concrete pavers.
The seat is made from segments of utility pole-sized logs. Two parallel and fully-round logs about three feet long serve as the base. An equally long segment was split in half the long way to form the seat and backrest. The chair parts are attached to the lower parts with square posts. A light gauge brass plaque inside a recessed rectangle on the seatback is fastened by four screws and reads:
