It winds between the apics of the black rock on 650 meters of elevation gain. Built in 1889 on the decision of Vaussenat, it was initially used to tow a sled on the snow. Too complicated to maneuver, the sled was abandoned. The running hand when she stayed and guided generations of porters for more than seventy winters.
Elle serpente entre les apics de la roche noire sur 650 metres de dénivelé. Construite en 1889 sur la décision de Vaussenat, elle devait servir au départ a tracter un traineau sur la neige. Trop complexe a manoeuvrer, le traineau fut abandonné. La main courrante quand a elle demeura et guida des générations de porteurs pendant plus de soixante dix hivers.
