A single, full-size basketball court is near the east end of the
Newton Centre Playground city park in Newton Centre, Massachusetts.
The well-maintained court surface is green with dark red keys, center court circle, and exterior boundary area. All the lines are white. Each solid white, rectangular backboard is mounted on a substantial, square post. No inner square or border is painted on the backboards. The rims and plain white cotton nets are in good shape. Four lights mounted at the top of wood utility poles illuminate the area after dark. A grassy field surrounds the playing surface. A few park benches are next to the tennis courts to the south and though they are close by, the seats face away from the basketball court.
A small sign is posted on one of the lamp posts and reads:

On-street parking (some metered) on the roads around the park. An accessable route is available from the Mason-Rice School parking lot to the west.
