La stèle du RICM
Souvenir du débarquement du Régiment d’Infanterie Coloniale Marocaine est située près de la plage de débarcation La Nartelle à Sainte Maxime dans le Var en France.
Facile d'accès à pied car elle est située sur les promenades de bord de mer.
Cette stèle a été érigée en souvenir du débarquement du Régiment d’Infanterie Coloniale Marocaine de la 9ème Division d’Infanterie Coloniale du Général Magnan, dans la journée du 19 août 1944. Elle a été inaugurée en 1961.
Ce Régiment est considéré comme le plus glorieux de France, étant le seul à avoir obtenu les trois fourragères : Légion d’Honneur, Médaille militaire, Croix de guerre. Par la suite, le RICM est devenu le Régiment d’Infanterie des Chars de Marine. Il a donc conservé ses initiales.

The stele of the RICM
Remembrance of the landing of the Moroccan Colonial Infantry Regiment is located near the beach La Nartelle in Sainte Maxime in the Var in France.
Easy access on foot as it is located on the seaside promenades.
This stele was erected to commemorate the landing of the Moroccan Colonial Infantry Regiment of General Magnan's 9th Colonial Infantry Division on the day of 19 August 1944. It was inaugurated in 1961.
This Regiment is considered the most glorious of France, being the only one to have obtained the three fodder: Legion of Honor, Military Medal, Croix de Guerre. Subsequently, the RICM became the Marine Chars Regiment. So he kept his initials.
