Greensboro's Childrens museum is the best place to let your kids play and learn, its exhibits are always changing so check their website for new things and programs.


Admission

Adults $6.00
Children $6.00 (children under 1 year old are free)
Seniors $5.00
Group Rate $3.00 per person (Must have 10 or more children for the group rate. Reservations required)
On Fridays from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, admission is $3.00
On Sundays from 1:00 - 5:00 PM, admission is $3.00




Parking

Convenient and free parking is available at the Greensboro Children’s Museum. Parking is also available across the street in the Church Street Parking Garage (Church St. Parking Garage is free on the weekends.)

Directions:
The Greensboro Children’s Museum is located at 220 North Church Street in downtown Greensboro, directly across from the Central Library. From Battleground Avenue/ U.S. 220: Heading south on Battleground Avenue toward downtown, the road becomes one-way and turns into Smith Street. Cross Elm Street and turn right on Church Street. The Museum will be one block down the street on the left. Parking is past the Museum. From Danville, VA/US 29 Heading south on US 29, take the exit for Summit Avenue South. Head straight on Summit Avenue at the light. (You may have to veer just slightly right at the intersection.) Turn left on Church Street, cross Lindsay. The Museum will be on your left. Parking is past the Museum. From Market Street: Heading east on Market Street toward downtown, turn left on Church Street. The Museum is two blocks down the street on the right. The parking lot is before you reach the Museum. Heading west on Market Street toward downtown, follow Friendly at the split and turn right on Church Street. The parking lot is before you reach the Museum. From Raleigh: Take I-40/85 toward Greensboro. Exit at South Elm/Eugene Street and head north toward downtown. Turn right on Market Street. Turn left on Church Street. The Museum is two blocks down the street on the right. The parking lot is before you reach the Museum. From Winston-Salem: Take I-40 toward Greensboro and exit on Freeman Mill Road. Go north towards downtown. Turn right on Market Street and then left on Church Street. The Museum is two blocks down the street on the right. The parking lot is before you reach the Museum. Another route from the west: Take I-40 toward Greensboro and exit on Wendover Avenue, headed east. Continue east on Wendover for several miles. Turn right on Church Street at the stoplight, cross the intersections of Summit and Lindsay. The Museum will be on your left. The parking lot will be after you pass the Museum, on the left. From Charlotte: From I-85, stay to the right and take exit 120 for Business 85 North. Take the Coliseum Area exit toward downtown Greensboro, which also 220 North. This road becomes Freeman Mill Road. Turn right on Market Street, then take a left on Church Street. The Museum is two blocks down the street on the right. The parking lot is before you reach the Museum.

Open Mondays for Members Only: 9:00 AM - Noon Tuesday – Saturday: 9:00 AM– 5:00 PM Family Friday Nights: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Sunday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM The Museum is open on Guilford County Teacher workdays and most holidays. When these Guilford County school holidays fall on a Monday, the Museum opens to the public 12pm – 5pm. The Museum will be closed on July 4, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday. Please check our home page for any additional closings.
