[GER] Das Museumsdorf Volksdorf ist ein Freilichtmuseum in Hamburg-Volksdorf. Es besteht aus sieben Wohn- und Wirtschaftsgebäuden aus dem 17. bis 19. Jahrhundert und einer Ausstellung mit Haus- und Arbeitsgeräten. Drei der Gebäude stehen an ihrem Originalstandort, die anderen wurden aus der Umgebung in das Museumsdorf Volksdorf transloziert oder nach alten Gebäuden neu errichtet. An Gewerketagen werden alte Handwerkstechniken vorgeführt.
Das Museumsdorf Volksdorf wird vom Verein De Spieker fast ausschließlich ehrenamtlich betrieben und erhalten. Die für den Betrieb erforderlichen Mittel werden durch den Verein aus Mitgliederbeiträgen, Spenden und Einnahmen aus Veranstaltungen aufgebracht. Eigentümerin der Gebäude ist die "Stiftung Museumsdorf Volksdorf", die auch die finanziellen Mittel für Investitionen zum Erhalt der Gebäude sammelt und zur Verfügung stellt.
Das Gelände ist, außer montags, frei zugänglich, die Innenräume können nur mit Führungen besucht werden.

[ENG] The Museumsdorf Volksdorf is an open-air museum in Hamburg-Volksdorf. It consists of seven residential and farm buildings from the 17th to 19th centuries and an exhibition with household and working utensils. Three of the buildings are at their original location, the others were moved from the surrounding area to the museum village Volksdorf or rebuilt after old buildings. On trade days, old craft techniques are demonstrated.
The Museumsdorf Volksdorf is run and maintained almost exclusively on an honorary basis by the association De Spieker. The funds required for the operation are raised by the association from membership fees, donations and income from events. The owner of the buildings is the "Stiftung Museumsdorf Volksdorf", which also collects and makes available the financial means for investments to maintain the buildings.
The premises are, except on Mondays, freely accessible, the interiors can only be visited with guided tours.
