Six kilometres north of the meeting of the North Thompson and Albreda Rivers, this bridge is the first crossing of the Albreda River by the Yellowhead Highway as it winds its way northward.

This is also the first crossing of the Albreda River on which there's a benchmark. 79C623 is monumented in the top of the bridge's west abutment at the northwest corner of the bridge.
