"This bench mark was used during the First primary levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 105.4580 feet [32.1436 metres] above mean sea level (Liverpool datum). It was included on the Worcester to Aberystwyth (Branch Line from Stourport to Kidderminster) levelling line. The surveyor's description was No. 12. Mark on North end of East battlement of bridge, over River Stour, at South end of Kidderminster ; 0.92 ft. above surface"
