Applause started off as a magic shop that also carried costumes and clown supplies. The store was taken over by a new owner several years ago and the new emphasis became costumes and dance wear.
The store still carries a large selection of items in it's magic room, everything from novelty joke items to easy magic trick to props for illusions that are for more skilled and practiced magicians.
