The Coordinates are at the North entrance to the park. This park and most Hillsboro parks are open dawn to dusk.
From the park website: "This 13-acre community park provides lots of opportunities for fun and relaxation to Hillsboro residents. The reservable picnic shelter and other picnic areas around the park have many tables for large gatherings. Benches are provided throughout the park along the paved paths. The large playground, pickleball court, performance stage and open lawn offer a wide range of options for activities. There are also two horseshoe pits. The park can be accessed from all sides and accessible parking is available on the west, north, and south sides. Accessible restrooms and drinking fountains are available. The Shute Park Aquatic & Recreation Center, Community Senior Center, and Library are right next to the park. Shute Park has picnic shelters and picnic areas that are available for rental. Reservations are taken starting in January of the same year for April 15 - October 15 reservations."
