[DE] Die Wasserkraftanlage Leerstetten wurde neben der Schleuse Leerstetten im Jahre 2013 errichtet. Die bisher ungenutzte Energie des Wassers wird durch die Wasserkraftanlage in Strom umgewandelt. Das Kraftwerk mit einer Ausbauleistung von 1186 KW ist mit einer Durchströmturbine ausgestattet.
[EN] The Leerstetten hydropower plant was built next to the Leerstetten lock in 2013. The previously unused energy of the water is converted by the hydropower plant into electricity. The power plant with a capacity of 1186 KW is equipped with a cross-flow turbine.
