"The Raillencourt-Sainte-Olle area was occupied by the Germans from the end of August 1914 and remained away from the front until September 28, 1918, when the village was recaptured by Canadian troops during the Battle of the Canal du Nord.
This cemetery was created in October 1918. It was enlarged in 1923 by the addition of graves from temporary cemeteries in the surrounding area.
The cemetery now contains 199 First World War graves, eight of which are unidentified. It was designed by WC Von Berg. "
