CZ: Jan Lucemburský zvaný Slepý, mimo ceský prostor zvaný i Jan Ceský (10. srpna 1296 – 26. srpna 1346, Krescak) byl desátý ceský král (1310–1346, korunován 1311), hrabe lucemburský a docasne i titulární král polský v letech 1310–1335. Dlouholetým Janovým sekretárem a diplomatem byl francouzský básník a hudební skladatel Guillaume de Machaut, který po králove smrti na svého patrona sepsal oslavnou básen Soud ceského krále.

Pametní deska je zhotovena ze šedé leštené žuly o rozmerech 90 x 60 cm. Na ní je umísten bronzový reliéf s motivem jezdecké peceti Jana Lucemburského a nápisy: „JAN LUCEMBURSKÝ, 1296 – 1346, CESKÝ KRÁL A LUCEMBURSKÝ HRABE" – „Na památku udelení prvního mestského privilegia králem Janem Lucemburským 29. zárí 1345 Mesto Kašperské Hory A. D. 2015". Desku umelecky ztvárnil plzenský umelec sochar Jirí Špinka.

EN: John of Bohemia (10 August 1296 – 26 August 1346) was the Count of Luxembourg from 1313 and King of Bohemia from 1310 and titular King of Poland.[2] He was the eldest son of the Holy Roman Emperor Henry VII and his wife Margaret of Brabant. He is well known for having died while fighting in the Battle of Crécy at age 50, after having been blind for a decade.

The plaque is made of polished gray granite with dimensions of 90 x 60 cm. On it is a bronze relief with the motif of the equestrian seal of John of Luxembourg and inscriptions: "JAN LUXEMBOURG, 1296 - 1346, CZECH KING AND LUXEMBOURG COUNTY" - "In commemoration of the granting of the first town privilege . The album was artistically played by the Pilsen artist sculptor Jirí Špinka.
