The wood-clad building is the original one for the community of Fernvale, and is now in the third generation's hands. I had already seen some customers wander in and out while I was taking photos at the Visitors Centre over the road, so as I headed back to my car I stopped in and asked about the sign on the corrugated awning: "Last Country Killed Beef". [As my own prior local Butcher had a similar 'deal'.] Unfortunately that is no longer 'the case' here. He just hasn't bothered with taking down the sign!
As to the Kosher, and Halal, he does get chickens pre-packaged, from 'XYZ', which are automatically Kosher, and Halal certified. Also, this is so "Olde", that it still has a hook on the wooden post of the awning, for a Hitching Post!
He had some interesting specials listed out front, including Ox-Tails.
