Smithsonian Art Inventory

" A motorized cone-shaped sculpture with rings welded horizontally the length of it turns on a circular, metal track in a bed of sand, making one revolution every twenty-four hours. The revolutions create circular tracks in the sand. Twenty-four benches are bolted around the circle."
