"St Jude Chapel became a reality with its opening, April 29, 1968. With a seating capacity of 350, it is so arranged that everyone is quite close to the sanctuary, the heart of the chapel. Dedicated on September 15, 1968, the chapel is the full realization of a dream nurtured in the loving hearts of Arthur C. Hughes and a few of his friends, for more than a quarter of a century.
