The listed cooridinates are for a temporary memorial. The site is close to Shanksville, Somerset County, Pa. There are people who are there during the day to help visitors.
Today "Sept. 07,2005" the final design for the permanent memorial was to chosen.
United Airlines Fight 93 was flying west. At some time in its flight hyjackers entered the cabin and force the crew to turn back and head for Washington DC. What happen after that may never be known for sure. It appears that the passangers and flight crew said NO and did what was in there power to prevent the terrorists from completing there plans. In doing so all 40 of them gave the utimate - their lives!
It is in there honor that the temporary memorial is in placed until the permanent one is built.
