Coffs Harbour is a large city on the north coast of New South Wales. The fishing fleet provides fresh seafood to the city via its Fishermans Co-operative where you can purchase both fresh & cooked seafood. Seafood is also sent to the Sydney Fish Market where it is distributed throughout the state.
The fishery includes open trawl (inshore & open ocean) for prawns, open trawl for fish such as whiting, flathead, Silver trevally, gem fish, gulper & shark. Long line fishing & charters are also catered for.
You can access the fleet from near the co-op as I did or drive around to the breakwall opposite.
