Minor light: Shield of Boselingthorp: Argent a chevron gules, the chief rayon. The groundwork has acorns in matt and faint yellow. This family, of Boselingthorp, Lincs, held land at Bothamsall, Notts.
West Light, top. St Christopher in a Blue diapered tunic and brown cloak (part made up with yellow glass), garter on right knee, and holds a two-pronged staff in his right hand. With it he spears a fish in the water. Another flat Fish is in the water. He bears on his shoulder the Christ Child who is in white, holding the orb in his left hand and blessing with his right hand. The face and halo are in brown-white, the legs white. The groundwork is in green diaper.
West Light, bottom. Eve naked, with long yellow hair, sits on a white and yellow Gothic stool spinning with distaff in her left hand and shuttle in right hand. The groundwork is in red.
East Light, top. St Blaise. The bishop wears a yellow chasuble, low mitre, no gloves or halo. In his left hand is a golden crozier with natural foliage in its crook. The right hand blessing is lost. Red tunic, blue dalmatic, alb, embroidered shoes and amice, at his foot a hog, probably representing a miracle whereby Blaise caused a wolf to return, unharmed, a widow’s pig which it had stolen. On a label “S. Blasius” in Lombardic lettering. Green diaper groundwork.
East Light, bottom. Adam naked with a loincloth, yellow hair and, beard, digs with a T-handled spade, in green grass. Red ground.
Canopies over all four figures in stiff tabernacle work. They depict a single round headed window within pillars, save one with a late Decorated window. All in pale yellow stain on white. Borders nearly complete. White and gold eagles on a red ground facing alternately. Also parts of Sunrays from elsewhere and green and yellow diagonal stripes.
