Artesian well in front of the Hofweg-Palais in the Hamburg district of Winterhude.
This well was drilled by order of D.G. Croissant Uhde and Mrs Helene nee Albrecht and intended for general use in the cholera year 1892.
In the front garden wall of the building there is a semicircular fountain niche (balustrade) with inscription plate.
The well is mentioned in an article of the magazine for mourning culture about the cholera epidemic and the drillings of artesian wells drilled by Deseniss & Jacobi connected with it and is illustrated with a photo.
