The Montana Natural History Center is a very impressive nature centre. With exhibits from the Cretaceous Era to the present-day, it provides a great overview of northwestern Montana's natural history.

This rather sizeable nature centre provides an incredible overview of the natural history of northwestern Montana. From the Cretaceous Era to Glacial Lake Missoula and onto the present day. There is no doubt that a visitor will learn a lot about nature helped shaped this region.

While mostly taxidermy exhibits and geological interpretation of the Missoula Valley, there are a handful of living snakes and reptiles to experience.

In addition, the Montana Natural History Center has education programs for children through to adults featuring classroom and field trips to the surrounding areas.

Visitors should visit the Nature Center and post a photo of themselves (or GPS unit) either inside or outside of the nature center visited. Logs without photos WILL be allowed if a lenghty description of one's visit and a mention of what they learned is included.
