Valemount is in the Robson Valley in beautiful British Columbia. It has approximately 1,720 residents in this small community. Valemount is called the "Valley of the Mountains".
From mountain tops to the valley below, Valmount is an ideal destination for the outdoor enthusiasts. The forestry industry is the primary economic base, however, tourism is rapidly becoming a large portion of their economy. The John Hick's Regional Park offers a viewing platform for local and visitors alike to watch the Chinook Salmon come from the Pacific Ocean, up the Fraser River and then enter Swift Creek to spawn in late July to mid August.
On the side of the post office is a mural of Kinbasket Lake and the Canoe Mountain.
Valmount Post office is part of the Valmount Plaza with other small businesses and office space. The post office offers postal box rentals, stamps, mailers and other postal supplies and merchandise.
