The ISS reached a high altitude of 87 degrees at 06:24:13 on July 16 with a magnitude of -3.8 at our Site 2 in Brunete, Spain. I was there at that hour watching the ISS with my little daughter that loves astronomy.
I selected this point in the country far away from the big city with very few light pollution in order to enjoy the ISS for the second time. I am sure that there are better places but this is perfect because its proximity to my hometown.
This time we enjoyed the ISS pass again over our heads. The weather was perfect, clear sky with no clouds.
I am very glad of sharing this events with my partner Max and 99. Thank you so much for your support and for connecting people through the astronomy and the ISS watching.
At Site 1 in Edmon, OK at 23:05:19 CDT Max and 99 observed the ISS reach a maximum altitude of 50 degrees at a magnitude of -2.9.
