From the junction with ORE242 W of Sisters, travel N on FR1028 for about 2.3 miles to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 6"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
Go N cross-county about 725' from the centerline of FR1028 to the corner. Found two remaining ponderosa pines with yellow BEARING TREE tags. Also found four Carsonite posts, with the usual decals, bearing N,S,E and W. In addition, an aluminum post with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs bears W, 50" distant.
