After the old Minerva fountain was moved from the neumarkt, in 1969 this fountain was built directly in front of the Margarethen church. The triangular fountain made of dark gray stone has on the northwest side seven glass boxes, through which the fountain water circulates. The fountain is very popular with the citizens as a seating and refreshment option.
