The church is built in a similar style to a couple of others within sight of this one. It is built of brown brick, with peak-arched windows and doors, flying buttresses to corners and walls, in a Gothic-styling. There is a square Bell Tower to the southern corner. Parking is on-street, possibly rear-to-kerb in Crane Street.

It seems that the congregation has reduced the usage of 'St Stephens', as both the websites listed below don't mention it. A 'motto' from the Church website is: 'Old building. New Lives. Eternal Truths.'
