[FR] "Vendredi dernier, en présence de 28 délégations et porte-drapeaux d’associations patriotiques de Charente-Maritime, Charente mais aussi de Vendée, de très nombreux anciens combattants et élus locaux, un hommage spécial et solennel a été rendu à Jacqueline Augras-Maillot. Désormais le square face au camping municipal, portera son nom.
De nombreux Portbarquais et enfants des écoles participaient à la cérémonie. Après l’éloge de cette figure éminente de la résistance Rochefortaise à l’occupant, pendant la seconde guerre mondiale, par le colonel (er) Amédée Ossant, président du comité de Rochefort de la société des membres de la Légion d’honneur, le maire Jacky Laugraud avec à ses côtés Jack Augras a dévoilé la stèle commémorative. Une gerbe a été ensuite déposée par le maire de la localité aidé de deux écoliers.
Une résistante courageuse
Sous le pseudonyme « Viviane », résistante du réseau « Navarre », Jacqueline Augras-Maillot s’est distinguée par son audace, son courage et son efficacité comme agent de renseignement.
Pour ce prestigieux passé de résistante et toutes ses actions, elle a été citée à l’ordre du régiment avec attribution de la Croix de guerre 1939–1945?; la médaille de la Résistance et la croix du Combattant volontaire de la Résistance lui ont été décernées.
Elle a reçu la croix de Chevalier de l’Ordre national du Mérite en 1999 et a été faite citoyenne d’honneur de la ville de Rochefort en janvier 2001.
Enfin, en 2006, au cours d’une importante prise d’armes sur la Base aérienne 721, elle reçoit les insignes de Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur.
Elle s’est impliquée dans différentes associations : membre du bureau des Combattants volontaires de la Résistance, vice-présidente pour la Charente-Maritime de l’Association nationale des Médaillés de la Résistance. Jacqueline Augras-Maillot a contribué au devoir de mémoire en participant à l’organisation de nombreuses manifestations patriotiques. Elle est décédée le 21 décembre 2009. "

Elle fut une figure emblématique de la Résistance Rochefortaise
Secrétaire employée dans l'arsenal de Rochefort, pendant l'occupation allemande, elle intègre l'Organisation Civile et Militaire (OCM) comme agent de renseignement, pour l'Intelligence Service. En liaison avec l'Amiral Meyer, elle transmet au réseau "Navarre" des renseignements de la plus haute importance concernant l'arsenal de Rochefort : plans secrets des installations, mouvements des bateaux ennemis qui seront ainsi bombardés et coulés par les alliés, au large des côtes charentaises.
En 1942
Jacqueline Augras-Maillot échappe à la Gestapo et au péril de sa vie continue ses actions clandestines :
- transmission de messages de renseignements,
- lutte contre le SIO, aide à l'exfiltration vers l'Espagne de Français recherchés par la Gestapo,
- mise à l'abri de documents et d'armes au domicile de ses parents (Musée de Rochefort),
- participation à l'organisation d'actions contre la milice
Au mépris du danger, infatigable, déterminée, elle risque l'arrestation, la torture et la mort.
En 1944
Jacqueline Augras-Maillot prend une part déterminante dans la libération de Rochefort.
Au service de la France, elle était l'exemple même du courage, de l'audace et du patriotisme.

She has been involved in various associations: member of the Office of Resistance Volunteers, vice-president for the Charente-Maritime of the National Association of Medalists of the Resistance. Jacqueline Augras-Maillot contributed to the duty of memory by participating in the organization of many patriotic events. She died on December 21, 2009."

Secretary employed in the Rochefort arsenal, during the German occupation, she joined the Civil and Military Organization (CMO) as an intelligence agent, for the Intelligence Service. In liaison with Admiral Meyer, it transmits to the "Navarre" network information of the highest importance concerning the Rochefort arsenal: secret plans of the installations, movements of enemy ships which will thus be bombed and sunk by the allies, offshore Charentaise coasts.
In 1942
Jacqueline Augras-Maillot escapes the Gestapo and at the risk of her life continues her clandestine actions:
- transmission of information messages,
- fight against the SIO, help with the exfiltration towards Spain of French people wanted by the Gestapo,
- sheltering of documents and weapons at the home of his parents (Rochefort Museum),
- participation in the organization of actions against the militia
Despite the danger, tireless and determined, she risks arrest, torture and death.
In 1944
Jacqueline Augras-Maillot took a decisive part in the release of Rochefort.
In the service of France, she was the very example of courage, daring and patriotism.
