This creative and vibrant mural by muralist Sergio Ramirez is located near Harvey and S.W. 25th St. It is approximately 180' long and 12' tall.
The mural depicts a girl with a paint palette and brushes, starting a paint swirl that evolves into education and space travel. Some of the items depicted in those scenes are flowers, pencils, rocket/plane, telescope and Saturn. The young girl is wearing a pink shirt, and she takes up most of the height of the wall on the left side as you face the mural.
From the Oklahoma City Free Press article about this mural:
Images of space travel, technical advances, architectural advances and the first calendar are included in the mural that covers the south exterior wall of the Mosaic Mental Health building at 2512 S. Harvey just south of Calle dos Cinco/SW 25th.
