About the design:
From a distance, the facade seems to be fairly closed, making the tower clearly visible as a landmark. The landscape is visible from the inside through the wooden slats. At the bottom of the tower, the wooden slats are far apart, so that the tower stands lightly on the ground. The forest runs through it, as it were. The high backside ensures that the birds in the adjacent pine forest are minimally disturbed. By sloping the slats over two sides, the view is focused on the Vechtdal and a beautiful transition is achieved with the rear. The shortest side is the minimum height that must be used for safety.
