Lt. Magill has an individual marker that is part of a family burial site. The family tombstone has "Magill" in graved on it and the following is engraved below the family name.

Born August 26, 1918, Fargo N. D., Died January 31, 1945
In Japanese Prison Camp at Moji Island of Kyushu, Japan
Captured by the Japanese Army at the Surrender of Bataan
Philippine Islands in April, 1942.
A Noble and Valiant Soldier, Citizen, Leader and Friend
A Martyr to the Ideals of Freedom and Democracy."
