From the junction with ORE242 W of Sisters, travel N on FR1028 for about 1.4 miles. Bear left on FR1028-100 and continue about 0.9 mile to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 4"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is N from the centerline of FR1028-100, about 290' distant. There are two Carsonite posts with the usual decals on the boundary lines, 18" N and 28" W from the corner. Found two large ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.
