When Concordia College opened in 1891 is has a reading room in an academic hall. In 1907 a new library room was part of the New Main building.
In 1922 the college completed construction of a new building named Grose Hall and first floor of this new hall was the new library. In 1956 the new library was opened with two stories of shelving. An additional two floors were added in 1971.
