A lonely chimney is all that remains from a 19-th century wollen mill.

Despite the somewhat prominent location in the "Shakespearean Gardens" in Stratford Ontario, there is surprisingly little online information about the mill to which this chimney once belonged.
Fortunealy a plaque is located on the chimney. It reads:
THIS CHIMNEY WAS ERECTED IN 1910
BY ET DUFTON
FOR HIS WOLLEN MILL
OPERATED FROM 1874 TO 1919
BY THE DUFTON FAMILY
Apparently the mill burned down in 1919.
