A long and slightly curved bench created from highway guard rail material is installed beside the southeast corner of the Attleboro Arts Museum in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Roughly perpendicular to the building, it faces Park Street.
The galvanized steel components of crash barriers are combined in a convex arch on a small, quarter round plaza of gray brick pavers. The backrest resembles a standard configuration with two I-beam posts holding a horizontal span of double-humped metal, its ends extend beyond the pillars. The north end has the normal coiled end cap and a v-notch cut in the south end. The seat is made from half a dozen end caps rotated 90 degrees and placed beneath the crosspiece. An automobile wheel and tire are attached to the left side of the bench by a pipe secured within the underside of the seat.
