Insolite, l’œuvre du sculpteur Francis Guyot n’était pourtant pas vouée à l’être à l’origine. C’est même un projet tout à fait sérieux que son auteur avait lancé à l’époque. La mobilisation et l’énergie déployées pour mener à bien cette aventure sont mêmes exemplaires.
On est au début des années 2000 et le sculpteur Francis Guyot imagine une œuvre monumentale pour rendre hommage aux travailleurs de la Manufacture d’armes de Châtellerault et au savoir-faire manuel.
Cet enorme objet est étrange dans le paysage et beaucoup ne comprennent pas son sens. On peut observer les véhicules descendant de la structure, ce sont bien de vrais voiture ce qui démontre l'énormité de cet objet. La découverte de cet objet à vraiment été une grosse surprise pour moi.
