The word odd shape, cunjors up various forms in ones mind.
To be odd I considered the shape, size and age. Age being a large factor, that being in 1896 this house was built. Then to consider-the building and materials used then, as they were "not as they are today."
If I was walking through the streets of Camborne in the 1890's I would have perhaps considered the Tower house a very odd shape for its time
sitting on a corner position the house takes on many forms.
With its conical tower with its 120deg glazed section, one wonders how the roof is supported. with the multi angle pitched roof creating complex roof valleys the
The very steep pitch of the roof
The curved corner entrance
All adds to a most unusual, odd building.
To imagine decorating and furnishing the interior..
The thought then is why, why would they build such a complicated building..
Alas, I have yet to find out.
