Located at milepost 187 on the westbound New York State Thruway (I-90). This travelers stop has pretty much everything a tourist could need! From E-charging stations to a Taste NY outlet, to Lock 13 on the Erie Canal, there is something for everyone.
Travelers are greeted by a welcome sign in a landlocked canal boat. The locks are immediately to the north, although there is no public access. The main CSX line is just north of the lock, which provides a look at three modes of transportation in one view!
The Welcome Center is open daily year-round. The Welcome Center features:

•“Path Through History” along the historic Erie Canal at Lock E13
